How do we know this? Well, because our Magical Christmas Eggs have almost grown to full size.
The girls get one of these each from our wooden Advent Calender every year around the 19th/20th December. That's when they realise that Christmas Eve is not far away and their excitement soars ever higher.
They squeal each morning when the little figure has grown with the safe knowledge that as the figure gets bigger the Christmas Magic gets stronger. By the time the Figure has reached full potential there is enough magic in the house for the big man himself, Father Christmas, to pay them a visit.
It's one of our new family traditions and one that I see continuing well past childhood ... I love it.
