Make Time To Play

Have you heard of 'Make Time To Play'?

I hadn't until a  few weeks ago whilst I was joining #playfest on twitter.

It's run by The Bristish Toy and Hobby Association and aims to provide free ideas and encourage play activities at home and on the go.

The campaign was started in 2007 to highlight the importance of play for children in their development.

They have a fantastic free app that provides play ideas based on age, setting and time. The ideas have come from a variety sources including suggestions from parent and cover all ages.

There are some great play ideas, some of which you'll probably know and many that you won't. Do go and have a look ...it's free!

You can also find more about them on their website and facebook page.

This year I'm an IzziWizziKids Toy Reviewer (see the video below if you want to know more) and IzziWizziKids plans to be much more involved in the 'Make Time to Play Campaign'. As well as Toy review videos we'll be providing play idea videos so keep an eye out for those!
