My mornings might be all about the coffee but my afternoons are all about the tea which is why I’m so pleased that wonderful British Institution known as Afternoon Tea has made a come back.
Of course with tea comes cake and biscuits (another favourite in this house) which makes this Time For Tea Gift Box by Moonpig the perfect present for any tea lover you may know.
It all arrives safely packaged in a luxury black gift box tied shut with a bow. The black gift box is wrapped in bubble wrap and put in a strong cardboard box for delivery.
The gift box contains:
– ’Loulou’ Spotty Tea for one set by Bombay Duck in a hat gift box
– Teapot Stainless Steel Tea Strainer
– Eteaket Earl Grey Tea (Loose
– Meg Rivers artisan cake pack: 4 x Mini Megs; Cherry, Carrot, Date & Walnut, Chocolate & Hazelnut, 2 x Shortbread: Plain & Choc Chip
As mentioned it’s a great gift to send to a tea lover but it’s also perfect to take on a camping holiday or even better to take it to your favourite festival for a little bit of indulgent luxury to celebrate getting the tent up.
The clever tea-cup and teapot design by Bombay Duck means that not only is it easy to store but the cup gets warmed by the tea in the teapot first *squeals just a little*. Plus you get a nice big cuppa!
The Earl Grey Tea by Eteaket has a medium/mild hint of bergamot followed by the creamy taste of the Sri Lankan black tea which will appeal to most people and got the thumbs up from my girls who are starting to follow in my tea drinking footsteps.
Then there’s the Meg Rivers cake and biscuits … oh my!
Choosing what to have will be the problem. The cakes are moist and full of flavour whilst the biscuits have just the right balance of light flavour and crunch. Deciding whether you’re a Cherry, Carrot, Date & Walnut or Chocolate & Hazelnut fan will test the most hardened cake chomper and then there’s the choice of shortbread with or without chocolate.
My recommendation is to share, share, share which might prove difficult if you have a hardened carrot cake lover with you … it is particularly scrumptious!
Whether you put milk in first, milk in last or like me have it black, afternoon tea is back in fashion and I love it!
I was sent the Time for Tea Gift Box to test out by Moonpig. All content and thoughts are my own. The thoughts were very happy!!!
