Moonpig is a name I associate with those silly cards and mugs that you can embed a picture of a loved one of friend on … seems I was totally off the mark .
Last week I headed up to London to view their Spring collection. Oh wow, was I in for a surprise!
They still sell heaps of those quirky cards and mugs but that is just the tip of the ‘giftberg’.
If you dig deeper they sell a huge array of wonderful good quality … dare I say it … high end products covering beauty, food, homeware, clothing, alcohol, hampers, balloons and flowers.
The products are carefully sourced and include well known brands along with smaller independent names.
Their flowers are great quality and sourced locally as well as from Europe. I particularly loved their colour combinations and variety of flowers they used. This Vintage Trug caught my eye and I’ve been hinting to my girls over the last week.
We were even treated to a hands on demonstration from one of their florists who showed us how to make one of their hand tied Spring bouquets.
This is mine (which I’m rather proud of) and it’s still going strong a week later.
I loved their hamper range and this Gardeners Hamper particularly caught my eye. I loved the mix of brands and the vintage rustic feel of the contents (brands include; Fentimans, Joseph Dobson, Kent & Fraser, Elegant & English and English Tea Shop).
For those with a sweet tooth they have created a fabulous Tuck Box full of goodies made by Hope and Greenwood.
I got chatting to two of Moonpigs in-house designers who have designed the most fabulous range of water-colour cards. The alphabet series got me really excited. I loved the vintage feel but also how versatile the images were. They’d make great pictures for walls (can you imagine a whole set in a nursery) and they are equally suitable for boys/Men. I’ve already booked a D for Dad which will be perfect for Fathers Day.
They explained that Moonpig actively encourages them to furthering their skills by trying new mediums and techniques which I love and can only help the brand grow.
If you’re looking for a gift then I would highly recommend giving Moonpig dot com (tune floats around head) a chance.
They have a great range of small and large gifts that have been thoughtfully pulled together. And they are always adding new products which stops them getting stale.
It was a brilliant event and a real eye opener for me at just how much the Moonpig brand has grown. Their current #MoonpigCollection is truly inspiring and has definitely grabbed my attention.

oooh I love Moonpig – the problem is that I’m so disorganised that I rarely have time to do anything other than rush to the local shop for cards 😉

Wow! Like you, I never realised they had hidden depths. I love the wholesome, vintage aesthetic, and gorgeous hand-held by the way – that’s from an ex-florist 😉

I have to be honest that I thought Moonpig was all about cards but I am really surprised by the variety and quality of the other products they sell.

I always, always turn to Moonpig for cards [usually because they are amazing at getting a card out the same day and I am so forgetful!} I love the idea of gifts too, the drug looks beautiful – I’d welcome that arriving with my birthday card!

The trug! The trug, not drug – don’t want anyone getting the wrong idea about Moonpig. Silly autocorrect.
