- Snowflake Punch
- Bostik Blu Stick
- Yellow Ribbon
- Self Adhesive on Silver Gems
- Lolly Stick
How To Make A Tropical Paper Snowflake Bracelet
First, use your punches to make a mix of different coloured and sized snowflakes.
Cut a length of ribbon that will wrap around the wrist at least twice. I do twice and knot the end pieces together to tie the bracelet. If you want to tie a bow then you’ll need a piece of ribbon that wraps around the wrist three times. Fold the ribbon in half to create a crease so you can find the midpoint.
Glue your snowflakes together using the Glu Stick… I use an old lolly stick to pull a small blob of glue off.
The great thing about Bostiks Blue Stick is that it coloured blue so you can see where you’ve put the glue but it dries clear!
Now, you can either stick your gem in the middle of the snowflake first and then carefully curl the snowflake tips between your finger using your thumbnail (don’t pull to hard or it will tear). Or you can curl the snow flake first and then stick on the gem.
Once curled stick a lump of Blue Stick on the back of the snowflake, using the lolly stick, and stick it onto the centre crease of your ribbon!
Add the rest of your snowflakes and allow to dry.
Tru and think about how the ends of the snowflakes interlock with each other and nestle them in close as you will get a little gap-page as the ribbon curls around the wrist.
